‘The Hungarian Rhapsody by Popper was fiery and boisterous and called for a highly virtuosic performance from the cellist. This was quite spectacular at times, with the several cadenzas and other daunting challenges superbly played’. Garry Fraser, Dundee Courier, Feb 2006
‘Her performance of Bach’s ‘Arioso’ was excellent as was her first class rendition of a wonderful ‘Ave Maria’ by Max Bruch’. Garry Fraser, Dundee Courier, Feb 2007
In 2004, Rebecca worked with artistic and musical director, Paddy Cunneen, in his production ‘Sunburst Finish’. In it, Rebecca played ‘Lika’, the Russian Cellist, and the show performed at the Dundee Rep Theatre and The Tron Theatre, Glasgow.
Recent shows include ‘Children of Eden’ in 2005 and ‘Calamity Jane’ in 2006, both under Musical Director Andrew Salmond at the Greenock Arts Guild Theatre.

‘In a performance of the F major Quartet (Dvorak) that was serene in its quieter moments and bursting in vitality in the more energetic sections (…). The final movement was delivered with a bravado and unanimity that was quite enthralling’. Garry Fraser, Dundee Courier, Sept 2007
In February 2008, the Quartet performed on The Isle of Arran for their annual music series.
‘…a fresh take on musical interpretation and an intelligent perception of which instrument’s voice needed to be heard…’ Alison Prince, Arranvoice, Feb 2008

The Accidental Duo
Rebecca has recently formed a partnership with violinist/violist Heather MacIntyre and they performed at Christ Church, Falkirk, in February 2009 with a recital including Beethoven’s ‘Eyeglass’ Duo and Rebecca Clarke’s two pieces, ‘Lullaby’ and ‘Grotesque’. They played to a packed audience and are looking forward to future engagements.
